patients in rehabilitation programs, in addition to standard medical management of such patients. In summary, the reader of the book will obtain a large amount of valuable information and practical guidance in the management of patients surviving acute myocardial infarction and coronary bypass surgery. The reader will also be provided with much information that is not relevant to these topics, and is easily available in other sources. It is to be hoped that a second edition of this text will be more specifically focused on the many aspects involved in cardiac rehabilitation programs.
